They dug a hole big enough for Dayanara to lounge in.
Tetfi is showing off one of her favorite foods from the sea. It's a sea cucumber. First, the outside is scrubbed, then the inside is removed and then the outside pounded and eaten (but not by me!).
George kept baptizing Ednes. On Monday, they saw the video about Jehovah's Witnesses and all they have been talking about is baptism, so this was their opportunity to try it out! All the way to the beach, Marjean asked John if the water is clear enough for baptizing.
We had chile for dinner. It was a hit!
Jonathan joined the rest of the boys in the ocean to eat.

While Jimmy was hanging on his favorite sea horse, Marbelta snorkeled. This is what she looked like almost the whole time. It was her first time to snorkel--and she loves it!
She came up for air!
George and Jeremiah making friends.

Just another run of the mill, miraculous sunset.

The Real Liberation Day

On July 21, 1944, the island of Guam was freed from Japanese occupation. It is a huge event every year. Today, we (31 in our congregation) spent the day showing people the way to real liberation! We're still inviting our neighbors to the district convention.

Margaret and Kym didn't miss anyone! When the householder shut the door, the air conditioner installer came around the corner and they had a nice conversation with him.

These children have such a hunger for spiritual things. It is very exciting as they all try to answer!

Everybody Gets To Help

With the right sized equipment, Jeremiah is a big help to Alice cleaning the Kingdom Hall.

Bethel Tour Day

Youme, a young sister who is part of the Chuukese translation team, was our tour guide. This is the lobby of the Guam branch office.

Laurie Ann shows everyone how small the font is for the Palauan Watchtower so that it will all of the text will fit in the magazine. Chuukese is not as wordy and the words aren't so long, so the font is about the same as English.

Future translators??
The entire Chuukese translation team came out to take pictures with our tour. We will be so sad to see them go to Chuuk in September. (It is best if the translation teams work in the area where the language they are translating in predominately spoken.) They have been such an encouragement to all of us and have made a major impact in the lives of Tetfi's family.

"THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN!"
Everyone was saying that when they got home.
We are thrilled because Tetfi and her children attend all of the meetings. Patrick has been attending on Sundays. And best of all, next Tuesday, the entire family will be studying together!!

Alice's First Talk

What effect will God's Kingdom have on human governments?
She did great!

The Boys

Today was quite a day! This is a photo of the group that met for service. The meeting for service was a practice session for everyone. Then, off to the territory--5 at one door and 4 at the other. This was a much needed breaktime. It was 95 degrees today with scattered showers.

Neighborhood Watch

She gives our car--and us--a once over before letting us in the yard.

Magellan's Cove/Umatac Bay

Can you guess who these belong to?

This local carabao gives rides on the weekend...probably to pay for the bling!

Games Kids Play

So it's summer. Your friends are all together. You don't have a ball. Some coconuts are lying around. Hurling coconuts is the sport of the day...first at each other, then on to the smashing event.
