District Convention

So many from our congregation had a part on the district convention this year...

but this was the highlight!! Kenny was one of the fifteen that were baptized!

Our First Pet!

John had been wanting to see a rhino beetle. It is an introduced, destructive bug that the USDA is actively trying to rid the island of. Kenny called us and said he had one to show us. Needless to say, John was way more excited that I will ever be!! Not only did Kenny show it to us, but brought it in it's own little home for us to keep (my excitement was hard to contain!). They only live two weeks. But during those two weeks, John was so concerned about this little fellas well-being, it was probably for the best that he was only with us for a short time.
