There are very few birds on Guam...sparrows, a few pigeons and some sea birds. Apparently, brown tree snakes ate all the pretty ones. Last month, we spotted this bird in the field across from our home. It is exciting to see a new variety. We're not sure what it is, but the concensus is that it's a sea bird, although we have not seen it fly. Perhaps it walked over from the beach. Anyway, we thought you'd like to see it.
