This was the first time we headed out to Madolenihmw. It's about as far away from town as you can get. And the potholes are enormous on some of the side roads. We were so happy we were with Hiroshi and Masehda. They were among the first Witnesses on Pohnpei and lived out here for a bit. Hiroshi used to WALK to this area.
This lady is the sister of a woman we study with in Guam. The man in the brown t-shirt is her brother. They haven't seen each other in 17 years. We brought a photo of the family in Guam and, of course, the opportunity to know Jehovah.
This is the mother of one of our students here in Guam. (Our student just moved back to Pohnpei this week. You might remember a photo of her from the circuit assembly with a cute, big baby, Noah,) Minnoahna called her mom and dad and told them that we were coming and they should listen to what we had to say. When we drove by, looking for their home, she was standing on the side of the road. She told us she had been watching out for us since her daughter phoned her the month before.
Why the big grin? It was the first time she saw a photo of her grandbaby!
