About two months ago, Norma (3rd from left) accepted a Truth tract at her place of work. Three weeks later, we went back to eat. She saw us and said she was so happy to see us. Why? Because of what she had been given to read! We showed her the Bible Teach book in Ponapean. She was very happy to see it. When a Bible study was offered, she readily accepted, but only if someone came who speaks Ponapean. No problem!
Carmella was very happy to do this.
To get to her home, we drove for about a 1/2 hour, then walked about a 1/2 hour and just when you think you must be getting close, because the road ends at a man in a hammock with a pig and a dog, he says the family lives 'over there', pointing toward the mangroves. When the tide is out, a person must walk through the mangrove mud (top photo of Itrashield and Carmella) to get to their home.
Nancy, Norma, Itrashield and Carmella are studying together for the first time one Wednesday evening. This was an evening I will not soon forget.
