There Are Still Many to be Found

This little girl, Natalee, is the granddaughter of a lady that we've been visiting. The lady is from Houk (Pulusuk), an outer island of Chuuk in the Pattiw group of islands. We met her when we were inviting folks to the Memorial. She invited us to return. When we went back, all of the adults at the house said that Juliana was sleeping, but Natalee came up and said we were looking for Lucky and we should follow her. It seemed like a good idea to follow her into the jungle. When Lucky saw us, she came running up to meet us. It was Juliana! She said she had been waiting for us to come back to see her.
Juliana told us that we are the first Witnesses she's ever met!
She loves reading the Bible and knew from her reading that God doesn't cause the bad things that happen to us...this is a much different view than most on the island. We discussed the question about prayer in the Truth tract, leaving the question, 'Who should we pray to?' When we returned, we showed her God's name and then discussed what it means starting with Exodus 3:14 and showing what Jehovah did for the Israelites and how Pharoah couldn't stop what Jehovah purposed. She agreed that that is who she wants to pray to--not some nameless, meaningless god. We are looking forward to our  next discussion..whether or not the trinity is a scriptural belief.
