JW.org

On Saturday, while John was at a door starting a study (that's the way our territory is!), Billy got in the car with Haruko and me. A brother and sister in an English congregation have been studying with him, but a sister in the Ponapean group has been visiting his mom. Since Billy's family lives in a very rural setting, they have no access to the internet, so we showed him several videos.

We think he liked what he saw!
This week, his mom is supposed to come to the Kingdom Hall for the first time with us! Billy can hardly believe she said yes. Isn't it beautiful when people can hear the truth in their own language?!

  3. Hi Emily, I recently came across your blog and have just enjoyed it so much. Thank you for taking the time to post, even if it's just pictures. It gives the yearbook experiences another dimension. For someone like me, who at 51 is caring for infirm parents and can't be out there like you, it means a lot to hear of how hungry people still are for the truth. Here in Tasmania, Australia, like so many "westernised" terrritories people are so apathetic and disinterested, you keep checking their spiritual pulse but rarely do you find any signs of spiritual life. When you do it is very exiting, so to have that much interest in your territory lifts our spirits and reminds us the END is not yet, and to keep our eyes on the prize. Love you for your zeal and godly devotion. Looking forward to meeting you some day. Your sister-in-truth Andrea
