"Now We Are Brothers"

It's been a little while since we've posted a picture of our extended family here in Guam. Tetfi called us Sunday morning to ask if we could take a picture of their family since they were all looking so good! This was the first meeting that Patrick wore a tie. After Marbelta, the oldest daughter tied all the ties, George, her brother, told Patrick, "Now we are brothers."
This looking good matches the good feelings they have on the inside. Although, we no longer study with them since they are being cared for by brothers and sisters in their language group, we are most definitely family with them. The time that they spent with us in our home taught us valuable lessons and helped them move closer to Jehovah. About two weeks before Tetfi and the kids left, she said she finally understood what we had been trying to help her understand---it doesn't matter what we want, we must know what Jehovah wants, make it what we want and do it, then we will be happy.
Patrick called John last week said he knows the only way to be happy is to do things Jehovah's way.
They have all, children included, made huge, life-altering adjustments because of getting to know Jehovah. Sometimes, it was so difficult they didn't think they could do it, but they are all learning to rely on Jehovah and the strength he gives to each of us.
Marbelta has joined the Theocratic Ministry School and should be participating in September.
We hope one day, you will all get to know our family.
